Abstract: How agile are you? A test to find out where "on the road" from waterfall to agile your software development team is at the moment. The test result shows where your team stands right now. It is based on the twelve principles of the agile manifesto. It's a short and simple test, does not require a specific process/framework/methodology and takes ca 15 minutes time.
The Karlskrona test is a self-assessment, developed in 2008-2009 with software development
teams in Europe, mostly telecom and embedded companies in Sweden and Germany. Use this test to see how far
the agile adoption came in your company, to identify strengths and monitor progress. It is too easy to claim
"we are agile", you really need to measure this.
Most teams measured are in a transition phase (80%), only few teams are actually agile.
